The Pit and The Pendulum

Step into a nightmare in 16th-century Spain with The Pit and the Pendulum.  Francis Barnard (you won’t be blamed for wanting to bring a flask for this trip) arrives at a foreboding castle to investigate the mysterious death of his sister.  His brother-in-law, Nicholas Medina (think Vincent Price with a serious case of shadows-for-eyebrows), offers a story that’s about as convincing as a used coffin salesman.  Unfazed (or maybe fueled by a healthy dose of suspicion), Francis digs deeper, only to discover his own sanity hanging by a thread.  Prepare for creepy castles, unsettling family secrets, and enough torture devices to make your dentist look like a masseuse.  Will Francis escape the clutches of his possibly-deranged relative and the swinging scythe of doom (aka the pendulum)?  Or will he become another permanent resident of this house of horrors?  This Edgar Allan Poe classic is a wild ride through psychological terror that will have you sleeping with the lights on – even in the 21st century.

DOUBLE FEATURE! Tickets for this show are good for BOTH movies that night.
