Join PBS North Carolina for an unforgettable evening celebrating The Great Cover Up, the long-running, much-loved Triangle music tradition where local bands deliver unforgettable tribute performances all for a great cause.
PBS is rolling out the red carpet at The Rialto for a special community screening of all new documentary coming to PBS NC this summer, The Great Cover Up. The film will be followed by a lively panel discussion and audience Q+A with the filmmaking team, longtime performers, and the event’s original founder.
Then we’ll close out the night the way it all began, with live cover band performances that capture the spirit, joy, and legacy of this unique event that started as a fundraiser for victims of Hurricane Fran and continues to support local nonprofits to this day.
