Paper Lanterns is the band's sixth release on Robust Records and is their most ambitious recording to date. Weaving together the music so it echoes and mirrors itself in lyrics, musical phrases, hooks and themes to connect the listener to the songs in a more intimate way. Each song is thematically linked and as the album progresses, the listener is able to find both subtle and more direct references to other songs on the record, as well as a few hints from recordings past.
