The Big Chill (1983) is a classic coming-of-age… or should we say aging-of-coming-of-age? movie. A group of former college friends reunite for a funeral and proceed to have a weekend of soul-searching, awkward flirting, and questionable fashion choices. Think of it as a real-life Friends reunion, but with less laughter and more existential dread.

It’s a nostalgic trip down memory lane with a killer soundtrack and stellar performances from William Hurt, Glenn Close, and Kevin Kline. So grab a glass of wine, settle in, and prepare to cringe, laugh, and maybe even shed a tear.
