What a joy to have a packed house for the return of Cinema Inc (technically THE Cinema, Inc but we`ve never heard anyone call it that!). This film club has been meeting since 1966 and has been at The Rialto for over 40 years. It was wonderful to renew this relationship and welcome so many passionate cinema fans back to The Rialto to enjoy classic films.

With a new lobby to show off, a lull in our schedule and basketball fever running hot throughout the Triangle, we thought Thursday and Friday would be good nights to open the bar and invite friends and neighbors to come hang out--no charge at the door! We`ll open the bar a little before 7 both nights and we`ll have hoops on the big screen. Come check out our fresh look and your favorite teams. Sure, you`ve been to a concert. Maybe you`ve even been to a chamber music concert, and perhaps they even played some pop hits. But--be honest--have you ever seen The Ligon Bad Guys perform? How about The Frozen Finger Quintet or The Roomies? Yeah, we didn`t think so.
But TONIGHT you can! The Rialto welcomes the Chamber Pops Music Festival, a concert of middle and high school instrumentalists performing well known hits. And the best part is it was organized entirely by the students themselves. Not content with the average school concert, these ambitious musicians wanted to put on a show in Raleigh`s coolest theater.
Come out tonight: doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7!
